CONTEST!!! Win an ORIGINAL art piece!

WIN AN ORIGINAL PIECE OF ARTWORK BY MELANIE!

Beginning today, February 1st 2008, you have the opportunity to win an ORIGINAL art piece by Melanie!

How?

Here are the rules:

1)Begin by visiting my website The Creators Palette and browsing through the gallery pages. (click on the link to "Melanie's Art Gallery" at the right)

2)Then come back to my blog and leave a comment here, telling me the title of one of your favorite pieces of artwork and which page is it on (gallery pages have page numbers at the top)

That’s it! Everyone who leaves a comment between now and February 13 will be put into a random drawing. My son will pull out a name and the winner will be announced on all three blogs on February 14!

Where?

Did I say, all 3 blogs? Well… yes I did! And that means that you can enter three times if you visit all three blogs! Only ONE winner, but you can enter THREE times! However, you must leave the title of a different piece of art for each entry.

Here are links to all three blogs:

The Creators Palette at blogspot

The Creators Palette on myspace

Melanie’s Journey at blogspot.

What if you win?

On February 14, all entries will be put into a box and my son will blindly pull out one name. The winner will be announced on all three blogs. If you win, all you have to do is use the contact form on my website (available on any gallery page) and send me your name and address and I will mail you your prize.

The prize will be an ORIGINAL – and a surprise!

Enjoy! I can’t wait to see who wins!!!

  1. I really love your needle felting, Melanie. Someday I'd like to try it myself.

My favorite is 'Winter Sunset', I guess because it has so much color even though it's winter. Beautiful!

  4. Of course "An Amity Afternoon" is my absolute favorite, but since I get to see that one everyday (yes it's finally matted, framed and hung for everyone to enjoy), I'm going to say "Retro Flowers" is also a favorite. I've admired that one for long time and love it's fun and brightness.

  5. ooo...i hadn't looked at your gallery in awhile & love some of the more recent additions. it's SO hard to pick just one, so i may have to reply on your other sites too so that i can at least have three choices:-). in general i'm fascinated by the felted wool concept & would love to learn more about how it's done. the flutterbear that just flew my way is so cool & while i got it to give as a gift i'm tempted to keep it for myself! but i digress....
i've loved "Sunkissed Sunflower" since the first time i saw it. at the time it was still for sale & if i had had a wall for it i would have bought it in a heartbeat. it's on page 10 (the sold items).

i'm sorry that i haven't been in touch recently but know you understand...

  6. Hi Melanie! I adore all of your butterfly paintings, but Butterfly #1 is very special to me! ;)

I had not seen your japanese waterfall painting before. I was missing out! Love it! ANd, I'm really drawn to Spring Tree...it glows.

I love so many of your paintings and needle felted works! I could go on and on.

It would have been easier if you had asked which I don't like...the answer...zilch!

  8. Melanie, Here is the third favorite ACEO. I like California Poppies, I'm a sucker for these orange beauties. You've captured their cheerful little faces just right.

  9. "Cherry Blossoms" on Page 8. I have always loved cherry blossoms and you have captured the soft beauty of the blossoms. I love it with the blue background. It's so fresh and clean. :)

  10. I'm so glad to get to comment on more than one painting. My other favorite is "BIRCH CREEK". Looks a little like yesterday's weather. Spring is coming! My favorite...

    Take care, friend,
